Despite seemingly resembling characteristics, attitudes, fashion and  styles, Emo and Scene both are altogether different cultures. However, there are many misconceptions about emo people and scenesters, which are prevalent all over the world mainly due to the similarities in their outwardly appearances.  There are many differences in the way they live, the way they dress and the way they style their hair.

Emo Versus Scene Style

Emo styles generally reflect carefree attitudes and ‘I hate life’ approach while scenesters styles and fashion display bright colors, fun loving nature and hairstyles that express their individuality. Emo hairstyles tend to go on dark or black base while scene boys and girls hairstyles show off lots of bright and deep hair colors and hairstyles. Although music is the main ingredient of emo and scene culture but emo music mostly has sad songs and lyrics that reflect ‘I hate life’ genre. Emo styles broadly display sadness while scene styles speak volumes about happiness.
