Anita Yuen Wing-yi won the 1990 Miss Hong Kong Pageant and is one of Hong Kong?s popular actresses in the 1990s. Through the years 1993 to 1996, Anita Yuen took on quirky character roles that captured the hearts of many filmgoers at that time. Her first movie appearance was in ?Days of Being Dumb.?

A long list of movies can be added to her acting belt but these were always small roles. Anita Yuen is probably best known for her appearance in ?C?est La Vie, Mon Cherie? way back in 1993. Her outstanding performance in ?He?s a Woman, She?s a Man? has also received critical acclaim. Both films have bagged her the Hong Kong Academy Best Actress awards.

Anita Yuen is currently married to Julian Cheung, who is also an actor and singer in Hong Kong. They were secretly married in the United States in San Francisco in the year 2001.
